- A scientifically formulated rehydration solution with an optimal balance of sugar and sodium to help quickly replenish lost fluids and electrolytes.† - Helps prevent dehydration in BOTH kids and adults. - Quickly replenishes lost fluids, zinc, and electrolytes for fast, effective rehydration. - Designed to help prevent dehydration† more effectively than household beverages, like sports drinks, juice, and soda, to help you rehydrate and feel better fast. - Available in a variety of flavours and formats. † Due to diarrhea and/or vomiting.
- Directions for Use: Tastes best served cold. Do not use if tamper band around cap or inner foil seal is missing or broken. Remove tamper band. Twist off cap. Remove foil seal. Do not add water or dilute. Recommended dose Infants <=1 year Consult a physician before using Pedialyte. Children 1–2 years Give 50-100 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over a period of 24 hours. Attempt to give solution as soon as diarrhea begins. Offer small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated. Children 2–9 years Give 100-200 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1 L over a period of 8 to 24 hours. Offer small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated. Adults, adolescents and children >=10 years Take 200-400 mL per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, or as much as wanted. Take small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated. Storage Directions for Use: After opening, replace cap, refrigerate, and use within 48 hours. Store unopened bottles in a cool place. Avoid excessive heat. Do not reuse bottles.
- MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Dextrose, citric acid, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate. NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Malic acid, natural and artificial fruit punch flavour, sucralose, acesulfame-potassium, FD&C Red No 40.
