It comes with an aluminum carriage plate that is predrilled with multiple hole patterns to allow mounting of various makes and models of plunge routers.* The 3/8" thick, 9 1/4" × 11 3/4" aluminum insert plate has grub screws for fine adjustment so it seats level and flush with the table surface. Machined from solid aluminum and operated by a 1/2" diameter spindle that rotates within a double-sealed bearing, the router carriage travels on 5/8" guide rods. To ensure smooth carriage travel, the rods are mounted into deep sockets with large-diameter bases, creating a rigid structure to resist racking.

A removable crank lets you adjust the bit height from above the table; each full turn of the inset micro-bezel moves the bit 1/16" for precise control, and the scale permits fine tuning to a resolution of 0.001" by interpolating between graduations. Operated with the same crank, a spindle lock prevents setting changes due to vibration.

The lift positions the router collet above the table surface when fully raised, giving easy access for quick, convenient bit changes. The aperture has a 3 7/8" major and 3 5/8" minor diameter to accept large-diameter bits; for smaller bits, the table comes with 1 3/8", 2" and 2 1/2" insert rings (along with an insert wrench and a pivot pin).

Double-sealed bearings resist dust infiltration for long life, and the aluminum parts are anodized for corrosion and wear resistance. All hex keys, bolts and other hardware for installation and adjustment supplied. Made in Canada.

The lift is available by itself or in sets that include a table top and the JessEm Mast-R-Fence III, with or without a stand.

The 3/4" thick, 24" × 31 7/8" table top is solid phenolic resin to provide a low-friction surface and dimensional stability. Made in Canada, it has an inset extruded aluminum combination miter groove/T-track that accepts jigs with 3/4" runners and 1/4" hardware for mounting fixtures.

The 36" long by 3 9/16" high extruded anodized aluminum fence is rigid and easy to position. It has two sub-fences made of hard maple, a thick phenolic base, an adjustable bit guard and a 2 1/4" vacuum port, as well as an upper T-track marked with a metric/Imperial scale for mounting jigs or other accessories as well as direct reading relative to the cutter. It mounts to a bracket at each end of the table that also has an Imperial/metric scale for direct reading relative to the cutter. Tall clamping knobs permit easy adjustments. Split for effective dust collection, the maple sub-fences can also be offset with shim rods for jointing or to eliminate sniping when machining full-thickness profiles. To provide stable support for cross-grain routing, the optional JessEm Mite-R-Slide II (sold separately) travels on bearing-mounted acetal rollers that glide along the integrated T-track of the JessEm Mast-R-Fence III.

The 36" tall heavy-gauge powder-coated steel stand has cross-braces for extra tabletop support and levelling feet for uneven surfaces.
