The gauge head is used for setting rails. It is graduated in both Imperial and metric sizes. It is included with the Veritas 32 deluxe cabinetmaking system and is compatible (but not included) with the basic system.
Also compatible with the Veritas dowelling jig and the Veritas shelf-drilling jig.
