This well-made set includes a paring knife, a mini Santoku knife, a chef’s knife and a pair of multi-purpose kitchen shears. All have good-quality stainless-steel blades. The handles are cushioned with a thick coating of tough, flexible synthetic rubber with a textured surface for a comfortable but steady grip.
A staple in any knife block, the chef’s knife has a 7 1/2" long curved blade that can handle a wide range of kitchen tasks, including chopping, slicing, dicing, mincing and even meat carving.
The Santoku knife excels at cutting fish and boneless meats and thinly slicing vegetables. The 5" long blade has a straight, flat edge, making it well suited for fine, precise cuts.
The paring knife has a 2 1/2" long blade and is the smallest of the three knives. It works well for tasks that require a straight cut or precise control, such as slicing cheese, trimming fat from meat and peeling fruits and vegetables.
The multi-purpose shears work well for a variety kitchen and household tasks.
Each knife is supplied with a blade cover to protect the fine edge from damage through contact with other implements if stored loose in a drawer.
