Tansu Die-Cast Post Handles

Tansu (the Japanese word for “trunk”) refers to a variety of trunks, chests, boxes and storage cabinetry popular in Japan from about 1650 to 1920. Combining the skills of the cabinetmaker, blacksmith and lacquer artist, Tansu can run the gamut from simple unadorned cabinetry to ornate chests using 100 or more pieces of hardware.

These handles are die cast, painted black and are bolt mounted. They feature trapped posts and stop handles.

Sizes given are overall width by height; center-to-center measurement is 47mm or 57mm. All mounting hardware is included.
