In early 2010s Ukraine, pacifistic physics professor Mykola Voronin (Aldoshyn Pavlo) thought the Donbas region would be a good place for a sustainable farmhouse and his coming family. Invading Russian forces would rob him of all of it-and the embittered academic gave himself wholly over to military sniper training as a means of taking his vengeance.
