Create your own works of art and experiment with artisanal printing techniques with this linoleum printing block.
This linoleum is pre-mounted on an 18 mm fibreboard, which makes it a rigid and easy to handle block allowing flat and consistent prints. Essdee Linoleum is formulated to be particularly soft for easy carving, making it ideal for all users from students to masters.
It is made from natural materials such as linseed oil and wood flour and is even biodegradable. The light gray surface can be drawn directly with a pencil or a drawing can be transferred using tracing paper.
This high-quality lino prints on a wide range of paper, cardboard and fabric, and can be used with oil- and water-based inks. Linoleum should be stored in a sealed container or bag and kept away from heat or direct sunlight to prevent the surface from hardening.
