SawStop Revolution Miter Gauge
From Lee Valley
Living up to the reputation of SawStop's renowned table saws, this miter gauge is impressive both for the quality of construction and for its innovative design.
The protractor head uses a pair of adjustment dials that make a quick, straightforward process of setting miter angles to a high degree of precision. The smaller dial controls the scale of adjustment, letting you set increments of 1°, 1/2°, 1/4° or 1/10°; you can then use the large dial to adjust the miter angle in the selected increments. It also has a free rotation setting that lets you turn the dial without any incremental stops, useful for direct reading from an existing workpiece.
The 23" extruded aluminum fence extends to 37". It has a right-to-left reading Imperial scale marked in 1/16" increments and accepts a user-made sacrificial sub-fence up to 3/4" thick (M6 mounting bolts not included). For precise, repeatable stock positioning, it has an articulating stop block that slides along the top of the fence extension and locks in place with a simple cam lever, and a micro-adjuster that fine-tunes the stop position 1/16" per turn.
To mount the gauge in a standard 3/4" wide by 3/8" deep miter slot, the 20" slider has three steel expansion discs that permit smooth travel and remove lateral play within the slot.
A superbly well-made miter gauge.
