This set is assembled from a mix of chrome-molybdenum and chrome-vanadium sockets – both hard, high-strength alloys with good wear resistance. The sockets are useful for general work as well as high-torque applications. Purchased as part of a closeout, this is an excellent-quality set even if its packaging is not.
