Antibiotic Sterile Ointment for the treatment of Eye Infections Bacitracin zinc and polymyxin B
sulfate Ophthalmic ointment USP
For the treatment of superficial ocular infections like conjunctivitis (pink eye) Uses: Treats infections of the eye such as conjunctivitis (pink eye) caused by bacteria.
Directions: Adults 18 years and above. Apply 4 times a day to the interior of the eyelid during 7 to 10 days or follow physician’s instructions. • Clean hands before and after using the product. Tilt the head back or lie down and look upward, keeping the eye open. Move the lower eyelid downward with the finger to form a pocket • Apply a thin layer of ointment to the interior of the eyelid by pressing gently on the ointment tube • Gently close the eye and roll the eyeball to disperse the ointment. Clean any excess with clean tissue • Do not use more than directed.
Active ingredients (per g): Bacitracin Zinc
500 u, Polymyxin B sulfate
10000 u Inactive Ingredients: Petrolatum,Heavy mineral oil.
