Norton 3X Sanding Belts

These high-performance sanding belts are quick cutting, yet remarkably long lasting. They have a specially developed friable zirconia alumina abrasive that fractures during use to expose fresh, sharp cutting edges. An open-coat structure and stearate coating significantly reduce clogging, even on resinous woods or painted surfaces.

To minimize shedding, the abrasive particles are resin bonded to the heavy-duty Y-weight cloth backing. These belts have a tape-reinforced bi-directional splice joint, allowing you to extend their life by reversing the running direction. Prices shown are per belt (belts cannot be mixed to obtain a discount). Excellent quality, they are suitable for a range of materials in addition to wood, including plastic, fiberglass and metal.
