- SENOKOT® Extra Strength is a natural laxative for gentle overnight relief of occasional constipation. Extra strength yet just as gentle. - ADULTS: 1-2 tablets once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime. Per Tablet Dose: 17.2 mg standardized sennosides from natural senna Max Daily Dose: 68.8 mg standardized sennosides CHILDREN AGE 6-12: 1 tablet once or twice daily, preferably at bedtime. Per Tablet Dose: 17.2 mg standardized sennosides from natural senna Max Daily Dose: 34.4 mg standardized sennosides SENOKOT® Extra Strength typically takes effect in 6-12 hrs, it is preferably taken at bedtime to help promote a morning bowel movement when experiencing occasional constipation.
