Mirka PROS 6"/2.5mm Pneumatic Sander & Dust Extractor Kits

These kits combine a PROS pneumatic sander and a rolling dust collector.

With its 6" diameter platen for working quickly over large areas, the sander has a 2.5mm oscillation pattern that makes it a good choice for finishing, while still being effective for heavier stock removal when needed.

The sander has a rear port for connection to the Mirka 1230 HEPA or the Mirka 1230 HEPA AFC (Automatic Filter Cleaning) dust collector, and a pattern of holes in the platen that distributes suction across the entire sanding disc.

By extracting dust right at the source, it reduces clean-up time, helps avoid health risks associated with airborne dust, and eliminates stray abrasive particles to ensure better surface finishes and longer abrasive life.

The PC model has a Push and Clean cleaning system, whereas the AFC has an automatic self-cleaning cycle – a particular advantage when using an aggressive sander for heavy stock removal, as it lets you keep working for longer periods without having to clear loaded vacuum filters manually.

Each kit includes an accessory control box that allows the pneumatic sander to work with the dust extractor’s AutoStart mode, which activates the vacuum only while the tool is running and turns it off a few seconds after the sander stops to ensure the hose is cleared. You can also run the dust extractor independently by switching it to manual mode.

The kit also comes with a dual hose assembly that encloses the pneumatic air-supply line within the vacuum hose for most of its length, keeping them tangle-free and easy to manage. Its 18' length gives you ample range to move around as you work.
