Liquitex ultra-matte medium allows for thinning the acrylic paint without modifying either its opacity or its shade.    Liquitex  ultra-matte medium allows for the doubling of the acrylic paint volume and produces results which would be impossible to obtain with other mediums. Of less viscous consistency than the gel, this medium allows working impastos and dries into a lightly satiny matte finish.Supports : suitable for all supports.  Use : As a binder to make economical paint from powdered pigments.Important information :Do not dilute by more than 25% with water.Added to paint at a level in excess of 50%, it can lighten colours. Do not mix with oil.
