For bio-based products, Liquitex halved this, replacing ingredients with ones from renewable, biological sources. These come from living or once-living organisms like corn, soy, sugarcane and algae which can be regrown or replenished relatively quickly through natural or farming processes.At Liquitex, every ingredient that has a bio-based alternative has been replaced and they’ve avoided any components or pigments derived from animals. As more bio-based ingredients become available, they’ll incorporate them.
