Get ready for a wildly unpredictable race where every athlete plays by their own rules. Magical Athlete is a fast-paced racing and competition game that combines simple dice-based movement with unique character powers that can completely change the outcome of a race. Players begin by building a team of racers from a rotating selection of colorful characters. Each racer has a special ability that can bend the normal rules of movement, giving players an important strategic decision before every race. Once the race starts, roll the die, move your athlete, and use their special power to gain an advantage, disrupt opponents, or make an unexpected comeback. The result is a racing experience where the standings can change quickly and no racer is guaranteed to stay ahead. The game is played across four races, with points awarded to the top finishers. Later races become more valuable, making it important to think about when to use your strongest athletes and how to manage your team throughout the competition. The double-sided race board provides different track experiences, giving players additional variety between races. Combined with the unique racer abilities, the different tracks help keep each game unpredictable and entertaining. Build your team, choose your athlete, roll the die, and get ready for a race where almost anything can happen. Magical Athlete combines easy-to-learn gameplay with enough character variety and strategic choices to keep game night exciting.
