- 1) Wipe the inside of your shoes clean; remove plastic backing from insoles. 2) Look for marking to indicate left versus right insole. 3) Insert into appropriate shoe, lining up heel of insole with back of shoe. Replace insoles after six (6) months or at the first signs of wear.
