- ADULTS AND CHILDREN 13 YEARS AND OLDER: Mix 1 rounded teaspoon (7.0 g) with 1 glass (250 mL) of cold liquid up to a maximum 3 times per day. Children 6-12 years: mix 1/2 sdult dose (3.5g) with 1 glass (250 ml) of liquid up to a maximum of 3 tmes per day. Directions: Stir briskly in the dosage level given and drink immediately. Drink an additional (250 mL) full glass of liquid with each dose. Maintain adequate fluid intake. CHILDREN 6 TO 12 YEARS: Mix ½ adult dose (3.5g) with 1 glass (250 mL) of cold liquid up to a maximum 3 times per day. Stir briskly and drink immediately. Drink a full glass (250 mL) of liquid with each dose. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Effects observed 12 – 24 hours after first dose, and may take 2 – 3 days. Minimum daily dose may be increased, up to the maximum daily dose, until desired effect is obtained. Adults only: to lower cholesterol levels, use for a minimum of 8 weeks to see beneficial effects. Adults only for appetite suppression: 2 rounded teaspoons (14.0 g) 1 – 3 times daily. For appetite suppression, take before meal, mix into a 250 mL glass of cool liquid up to a maximum 3 times daily. Stir briskly and drink immediately. Maintain adequate fluid intake. For Occasional Use only in suppressing appetite
- Medicinal Ingredient : Each rounded teaspoon (7.0g) contains plantago ovata (psyllium seed husk) 3.4g. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Sucrose, no artificial colouring added. Suitable for sodium restricted diets. Each 7.0g dose contains 2 mg of sodium.
