- As a digestive enzyme to reduce gas production or to prevent gastrointestinal intolerance: take with first bite of food/meal up to 20 tablets per day. Take 2-3 tablets per meal. Adjust the number of tablets according to the number of servings of gas producing food you eat. Do not cook with these tablets or add to very hot food as too much heat can inactivate the enzyme.
