One Friday afternoon, Cassandra decides to stay at school. She stays after the nice teacher leaves... She stays after the janitor has mopped... She stays even after the school principal turns off all the lights and goes home. Worried to death, her parents go looking for her. They are convinced that Cassandra has been kidnapped! When they finally find her, they explain to her that she can't stay in the class... but Cassandra doesn't care: she LOVES school! The next day, Cassandra gets up and puts on her school clothes. Her parents explain to her that there is no school on Saturdays... but luckily, Cassandra has an idea that could bring the whole school to her house! Another funny story from Robert Munsch and Michael Marchenko that demonstrates how far determination can go!
