- Directions For Preparation Wash your hands, bottle, and other feeding utensils thoroughly. Sterilize the bottle, nipples, rings, caps, and feeding utensils for 2 minutes at a rolling boil. Cool equipment to room temperature before using. Boil additional water for the formula at a rolling boil for 2 minutes. After cooling water to room temperature, the required amount of water can be added to a sterilized bottle. Prepare formula Mixing Guide Note: 1 level scoop ≈ 4.3g of powder Add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30 ml of water. Cap the bottle and shake vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved. Place a drop of formula onto the inside of your wrist. If you do not feel a temperature difference, the formula temperature is just right. Feed immediately. If not feeding immediately, prepared formula should be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Discard any amount of formula left in the bottle more than an hour after the start of the feed.
