Schmincke has been developing and manufacturing HORADAM® AQUARELL supergranulation watercolours since 1881. This harmonious colour spectrum boasts bright, intense shades created using only the highest-quality pigments. Offering high flow control, even on soft watercolour papers, these paints are fully reusable when dried on a palette. Endless possibilities for artists. What is granulating? Granulation is the way pigments agglomerate on paper. The combination of at least two granulating HORADAM® pigments enhances this effect to "supergranulation". In the case of pigments from different colour ranges, the colour interactions are further intensified.
Note: This formation of colours varies depending on the substrate and the amount of water used. The rougher the paper, the stronger the granulation effect.
