Hayl means cardamom in Arabic. Cardamom is often used in Arabic coffee, desserts, and sweet dishes, especially when hosting guests or celebrating. That cozy, aromatic scent reminds me of gatherings, sharing food, and that 'come in, you’re welcome here' feeling, which is a big part of how many of us experience Eid al-Adha.
