- 1. Remove the pregnancy test from the foil and use it immediately. 2. Take the cap off the pregnancy test. 3. Hold the absorbent tip >2/3 in the urine stream for 10 seconds or collect the urine in a clean dry cup and place the absorbent tip in the urine for at least 10 seconds. 4. Place the cap back on the pregnancy test, then put down the test on a clean and stable surface. Immediately start timing 3 minutes. 5. Read the result after 3 minutes; do not interpret the result after 10 minutes. 6. Discard the test according to local regulations.
