Dura-GRIT Shaping Burrs

These aggressive burrs are effective for quickly cutting and shaping materials such as wood, fiberglass, laminates, plastic and leather. The durable copper-brazed tungsten carbide grit will not loosen or shear under load.

The 1 1/4" dia. shaping wheel is domed for sanding curved and flat surfaces. The 1 1/2" cutting wheel cuts up to 5/8". The tapered, round-end and conical burrs are for general carving and shaping; the tapered burr can also be used to bore into materials. The 1/2" dia. by 1/2" tall hollow drum has grit on the lip, allowing it to be used as a hole saw. Usable at speeds up to 35,000 rpm, each has a 1/8" shank and measures 1 1/4" to 1 5/8" in length.

Available individually, as well as in two sets of four selected for general household use and for carving. The homeowner’s set includes the #5 cutting wheel, #1 shaping wheel, #2 tapered-point burr and #2 hollow drum. The carver’s set includes the #1 shaping wheel, #2 tapered-point burr, #6 round-end burr and #4 conical-tip burr.
