Crucible Pinch Rods

Also known as a bar gauge, pinch rods are an easy solution for ensuring a cabinet or drawer is perfectly square, and for taking accurate inside measurements without having to wrangle a tape measure in tight corners, or write down or remember any numbers.

This kit contains the hardware you need to build a pair of pinch rods: two machined brass bodies, two #6 brass screws and instructions. You supply two slats, 3/8" × 3/4" in any length to suit your purpose.

An additional benefit of making your own is that you can prepare slats in multiple lengths, so you can create more than one set of interchangeable, customized rods. An easy way to make a practical addition to your woodworking tool kit.
