Crucible Bench Square

Based on a design from Roubo’s L’Art du Menuisier, this useful bench square is made using modern materials and techniques to ensure lasting accuracy.

Its clever design lets you lay out and check 90° and 45° angles, and the right angle cutout can be used for verifying the squareness of your workpiece.

The laser-cut blade is 1/4" Baltic birch for dimensional stability and is fitted to maple stock; both are non-marring and won’t dull the edge of a marking knife. Measures 4" × 9" and weighs just under 3 oz.
