Liquitex Crackle Paste can be mixed with colour to create a structurally stable crackle effect on rigid surfaces. It dries to a hard, opaque finish and maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality. Do not try and slow the drying time by adding a slow drying medium, as this will affect crackling effect. Apply paste evenly to surface with a palette knife Let dry for at least 24 hours before painting over When using on wood, seal with a base layer of fluid/gel medium and let dry before Crackle Paste application.
