Book is in French Ben wakes up with a start. In his city, the ugliest, blackest, dirtiest of cities, a train derailed. Everything burns! Quickly, Ben puts his father in his stroller and tries to get out of the blaze. As he flees, he spots a white bird which seems to be beckoning him...
