Book is in French Carla, a war journalist in Afghanistan, is on a quest. She is looking for something meaningful, to bring back to her son Théo. For his part, Tom, a young nineteen-year-old American, tries to find meaning in this war for which he joined without knowing why. His mother is upset thinking about her son.
