Christmas Light Hangers

These corkscrew-shaped hooks are an easy way to hang a string of lights on an eavestrough. Winding the wire around the hook traps it in the center of the corkscrew, holding it reliably without kinking it or chewing up the insulation.

The hanger end clips over eavestrough lips up to 1/2" wide. You only have to secure the hooks to the wire once – they grip reliably enough that you can store the lights with the hooks in place.
