Aspen Pen Blank

Aspen (Populus tremuloides) – A straight-grained wood with light brown heartwood and pale yellow-white sapwood. Medium-low density with uniform texture, it turns, glues and finishes well, though it requires very sharp tools and fine sanding to obtain a smooth finish.

Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 6" long.
