1Shot Wall Anchor for Steel Studs

In condos and other modern constructions that use steel framing instead of wooden studs, it’s often difficult to mount heavy items on a wall, as typical fasteners are designed for use in wood. These 3 1/2" zinc-alloy anchors can be set directly into steel studs, and are rated to hold up to 300 lb (136kg) per anchor.

Where the wall panel and the item being hung have a combined thickness of up to 3/4", the anchors can be used to screw objects directly to the wall; for thicker materials, an anchor can be seated flush to the wall surface, then used much like a drywall anchor by driving a regular #8 screw (you supply) into its recessed center. Sold in packages of four.
