1000x Water Stone Wheel

This 1000x stone is a replacement wheel for the Lee Valley wet grinder we sold many years ago. Developed in conjunction with our Japanese supplier of water stones, it is excellent for day-to-day grinding where major nicks do not have to be removed.

Like all water stones, the 1000x cuts much more rapidly than the grit implies and still leaves a finish that requires only minimal honing. Maximum rpm is 1800.

Measures 255mm (10") in diameter by 38mm (1 1/2") thick with a 29mm (1 1/8") diameter arbor hole. Stone only; spindle required.
