Thuya Burl Pen Blank

Thuya Burl (Tetraclinis articulata) – Ranging from a light flame orange to deep reddish brown, this heavily figured wood has a distinctive pattern of darker speckles and whorls. It is moderately hard with a fine, even texture but demands sharp tools to avoid tear-out.

Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 5" long.
