Spalted Tamarind Pen Blank

Spalted Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) – Spalting typically occurs in the pale, butter-yellow sapwood, creating contrasting patterns of wavy black lines. The dense, hard wood has interlocked grain and a medium texture, so it is moderately difficult to turn, and it dulls tools quickly.

Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 6" long.
