Plans from Chairmaker's Notebook

We offer full-size annotated patterns for components of two chair designs found in the book Chairmaker’s Notebook – a fan-back chair and a balloon-back chair. Printed on a single 36" × 48" sheet, they include turning patterns for legs, stretchers and posts, cutting templates of seat shapes, fan-back crest shape, balloon-back profile and bending forms.
