NWS High-Leverage End-Cutters

The German firm NWS (Nöthen Werkzeuge Solingen) makes tools that are widely recognized in Europe for exceptional quality, innovation and performance.

These cutters perform remarkably well. The key is the dual-hinge design, which uses the mechanical advantage of a compound lever to amplify applied force.

The 1 1/8" wide jaws have induction-hardened double-bevelled edges that can cut nearly flush (within 1/16" of a surface) and their offset configuration ensures the handles won't get in the way when trimming items that project past the hinge.

Suitable for nails and steel rod up to 4mm (approx. 5/32") in diameter and hardened wire up to 3.5mm (approx. 9/64"). 8" long; maximum opening of 1/4".
