Leather Skiving Knife

Skiving is thinning leather along its edge, making it easier to fold or to reduce the thickness of laminated layers.

This knife has a curved edge so you can angle the cut to suit the texture, grain direction or other characteristics of the leather you’re working with. It can also be used to slice through leather along a cut line, whether freehand or against a straightedge.

Designed for right-handed use, the single-bevelled high-carbon steel blade is offset for knuckle clearance and comes sharpened, ready for use.
