Goncalo Alves Pen Blank

Goncalo Alves (Astronium spp.) – Sometimes called tigerwood for its orange-brown wood interspersed with contrasting streaks of dark brown to black. Although it is very dense and hard, and often has interlocking grain, it is relatively easy to turn with well-sharpened tools.

Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 5 1/2" long.
