This is an excellent lopper for branches up to 2" in diameter. Its unique gearing system multiplies the cutting force to reduce the effort required to cut through thick branches.
The bypass-style head makes clean cuts, leaving no crushed wood that might invite pests or disease, and the pronounced curvature of the lower jaw helps hook and hold the branch while it is being cut.
The blade is steel with a low-friction, corrosion-resistant coating. The fiberglass-coated steel handles have comfortable rubberized grips.
The loppers are 32" long for good reach, and weigh about 4 lb.
