Making a Difference through:

Climate Change – Peoples is working with key suppliers, particularly transportation partners, to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. They have committed to providing transparent targets and metrics of their progress.

Water Impact – Peoples is proud to have joined the United Nations Global Compact CEO Water Mandate and are working to have a net-positive water impact in water-stressed basins where they operate by 2050.

Recycled Packaging - By 2030, 50% of its paper-based packaging and 30% of its plastic-based packaging will be from recycled content, yielding a large waste reduction in all areas of packaging and shipping.

Circular Economy - The principles of the circular economy and reducing their footprint on the environment are built into their business model. Each year, millions of pieces of jewellery pass through their hands and they extend the life of each one with sustainability in mind. Peoples had recovered or recirculated 126,726 carats of diamonds, including diamond dust from their cutting and polishing factory, and 31,015 troy ounces of gold.

Recirculated Materials – Out of love of the planet, Peoples Jewellers strives to reuse nearly every component of jewellery in their care to reduce their footprint on the environment.
