KFC - Retail In Action

Join KFC in creating a sustainable future.

At KFC, they’re making good food sustainable, one bucket at a time. They’re committed to doing their part to help the environment. This means they’re making changes to reduce their carbon footprint and reach their sustainability goals. KFC hopes to have 100% recoverable packaging by the end of 2025. Through these initiatives, KFC hopes to create positive changes in the communities they serve and the planet we call home.

They’ve Been Up to Some Good.

Since 2019, they’ve been cutting down waste without cutting corners on flavour. From eliminating plastic straws and bags to introducing compostable containers, every bite gets better when it’s better for the planet.

Serving Up Sustainability.

Starting January 20th, 2025, forks, napkins and ketchup will be available upon request. What happens when you pass on cutlery, napkins and condiment packs?

You’ll save 3.6 trailers worth of ketchup packets per year.

You’ll cut back on enough paper napkins to cover 514 football fields.

You’ll prevent 3 million forks from ending up in landfills.
