Oral Rehydration
- Rapidly restores fluids and electrolytes; Prevents dehydration due to vomiting, diarrehea, and heavy sweating, fever, vigorous exercise and hot or dry conditions. Rehydrates faster than water when mildly to moderately dehydrated
- Fill measuring cup to 200 mL with fresh cold drinking water (for babies under 6 months it is recommended to use cool, boiled water). Empty the contents of one sachet into the cup and stir the mixture until the powder has dissolved. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist. Discard unused solution after 24 hours. Only mix with water. Continue with breast or formula feeding of infants betwen sips of powder solution.
